Change Salesforce Job Intervals

Europium

The MultiOutput Processing (share) and Replicator Subscriber (subscribe) jobs can run at predefined intervals so that Salesforce case data is effectively shared out. To define the interval at which these jobs will run, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Salesforce organization and click the dashboard icon at the top left-hand corner of the screen. Then, click the Perspectium Replicator app.
  2. From the navigation bar near the top of the screen, click Perspectium Jobs. Then, in the upper left-hand corner of the resulting page, click New Perspectium Job.
  3. Check the Active box. Then, type any description for the Description.
  4. Choose MultiOutput Processing to configure the interval for a share job or Replicator Subscriber to configure the interval for a subscribe job.
  5. From the Job Interval dropdown, choose an interval for the job to run at.
  6. Click Save to finish configuring your Perspectium job.

To set a job interval value other than those predefined in the Job Interval dropdown for your Perspectium job, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Salesforce organization and click the cog icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen. Then, click Setup
  2. In the left-hand side Quick Find navigation window, type and then click Custom Settings (under Custom Code).
  3. From the list of Custom Settings, click ReplicatorJobSettings.
  4. Near the top of the Replicator Job Settings form, click Manage. Then, click New.
  5. Type a number (in seconds) next to the job you want to add a custom interval. Then, click Save. NOTE: To change the maximum number of Apex jobs that can be run at the same time, you can modify the value for Max Apex Jobs on this form as well.
